About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate to join our dynamic team at Dunbar Education in Ware. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain valuable experience in the education sector while applying their knowledge of psychology to support students' learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities, promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being among learners.
  • Assist in managing classroom behaviour and fostering a positive learning environment, ensuring students feel safe and supported.
  • Work with students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to provide targeted support, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Help implement strategies to support the emotional and social development of students, promoting their overall well-being and academic success.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents, ensuring everyone is informed and involved in the student's journey.
What We're Looking For:
  • A recent psychology graduate with a strong academic background and a passion for working with children.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, staff, and parents.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with the ability to adapt to various situations and priorities.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people, with a focus on creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
