About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Advisor to join our team at HUC. As a Clinical Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, evidence-based healthcare to patients across our service area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess callers with a wide spectrum of clinical conditions and provide advice on home care management, next steps, and referrals to further care when appropriate.
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality, evidence-based healthcare to the immediate needs of patients.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to a high-quality service, excellence in clinical practice, and continuous professional development.
Requirements
  • Registered nurse or paramedic with post-registration training/consolidation and experience in at least two healthcare settings or specialties relevant to the profession.
  • Ability to commit to 8 weeks of full-time training and adapt to a rolling rota pattern, covering our 24-hour operational period.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to clearly and confidently communicate with callers from all walks of life.
  • Passion for providing a service that meets the needs of patients and their families.
