Are you a skilled and passionate chef looking for a challenging role with a reputable healthcare provider? Barchester Healthcare is seeking an Executive Chef to join its team, delivering high-quality dining experiences in our care homes.
About the Role
- This is a full-time position with flexible working hours, including days and alternate weekends across 4/5 days a week.
- The estimated salary for this role is around £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- You will lead a team of chefs in menu development and hospitality, ensuring that residents receive excellent service and food quality.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality menus that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences.
- Lead and motivate a team of chefs to achieve exceptional performance and customer satisfaction.
- Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, stock control, and health and safety protocols.
Your Qualifications and Experience
- Candidates must have City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent qualifications in culinary arts.
- Experience in leading a team, motivating staff, and developing menu plans is essential.
- Familiarity with HACCP and COSHH protocols is also required.
