Job Summary

Direct Medics is a leading healthcare recruitment agency partnering with the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust to fill a Band 6 Speech & Language Therapist position in the Belfast Community Clinics for children's services. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to provide specialist clinical expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of communication disorders in children.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialist clinical expertise in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of communication disorders in children.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify communication disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide therapy sessions to children with communication disorders, including speech, language, and communication therapy.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or diploma in Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Current registration with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) or Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • At least 18 months of experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist with children who have speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Valid driving license and access to a car for the duties of the post.
