Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

Marks Sattin Executive Search is seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to join a fast-growing PE-backed B2B business in Essex. As a strategic finance leader, you will work closely with the CEO and a supportive PE house to drive the company's growth strategy and enhance its financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the finance team as a strategic business partner, overseeing all financial operations and implementing robust systems, processes, and controls.
  • Deliver detailed financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting at the highest standards, driving the business's ambitious growth strategy under PE partnership.
  • Manage working capital and cash flow effectively, serving as a role model and fostering a high-performance culture within the finance team.
  • Strengthen relationships with investors and business partners to promote business success and growth.
Requirements:
  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA) with proven experience as a Finance Director or Financial controller from a Privately-Owned Business looking to step up into a CFO role in a PE-Backed business.
  • A track record of implementing and improving accounting systems, processes, and management information and financial reporting.
  • Be proactive and entrepreneurial with exceptional interpersonal skills and be a skilled communicator.
