About the Role

We Are With You is a leading provider of substance misuse services, and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Practitioner Psychologist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality psychological assessments and interventions for clients with complex mental health and substance use needs.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care.
  • Supervise and mentor junior psychologists, promoting their professional development and ensuring high standards of practice.
  • Contribute to the development of our services, including the design and delivery of training programs and the evaluation of treatment outcomes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that our services are responsive to the needs of our clients and the wider community.
Requirements
  • Postgraduate Doctoral level training in clinical or counselling psychology, or equivalent.
  • Registration with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist, with evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Demonstrable experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients with complex mental health and substance use needs.
  • Accreditation with BABCP as a supervisor or trainer.
  • Advanced training in an evidence-based psychological therapy for substance misuse.
