Clinical Leadership Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Mental Health team at HMP Five Wells, a leading category C resettlement prison in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

This rewarding role offers a competitive annual salary up to £189,900 per annum FTE, depending on experience, and provides opportunities for career advancement and professional growth within the Practice Plus Group.

You will work as part of a dynamic team, collaborating with a second Psychiatrist who serves as our national psychiatry lead. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans, working closely with the multidisciplinary team
  • Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the mental health team, contributing to strategic service developments
  • Engage in multi-professional complex case reviews, ensuring optimal patient outcomes
