Activity Lead for Learning and Physical Disabilities

Proud to Care Devon is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as an Activity Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering activity programs that promote social interaction, personal growth, and overall well-being for individuals with learning and physical disabilities.
The successful candidate will have experience working with individuals with diverse needs and abilities, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. A degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g., special education, recreation therapy) and excellent creativity and problem-solving skills are also essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement activity programs that meet the needs of individuals with learning and physical disabilities
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver inclusive and engaging experiences
- Maintain accurate records of participant progress and outcomes
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience working with individuals with learning and physical disabilities
- Degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g., special education, recreation therapy)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Creativity and ability to think outside the box
