About the Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Curator to support the development of a heritage project at the Museum of Somerset. This exciting role offers the chance to work with a talented team of heritage professionals and contribute to the preservation and promotion of our region's rich cultural heritage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Project Curator in developing content for exhibitions and displays
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of engagement programmes
- Collaborate with the Project Group to achieve project objectives
- Maintain accurate records of collections and exhibitions
Requirements:
- Proven experience in museum or cultural heritage settings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities
- Passion for heritage and culture
