Language Empire has been offering its services in the UK for over 20 years, covering hundreds of languages and dialects. If you can speak one or more foreign languages and would like a crucial role involving politics, business, health care and public service, this could be the right opportunity for you.
The Role:
You will interpret for people using legal, health and local government services. Your tasks will include checking the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence and liaising between the service user and service provider. You must be able to deal with highly confidential information and have excellent communication skills.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you must be aged 21 or over, fluent in English and another language, and have the right to work in the UK. Formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) or a degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages are advantageous.
