Financial Planning and Analysis Expert

At the Bank of China, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis Expert to join our Financial Management department. As an Assistant Vice President, you will play a crucial role in planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the financial activities of the Bank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the department's various functions on data requirements to fulfill their responsibilities.
  • Perform analysis on particular business areas to provide meaningful management information to Management and business stakeholders.
  • Support business functions with management information to understand their financial performance, identifying gaps and improve financial results.
  • Break down business department budget and KPIs to detailed action plans and provide close monitoring and recommendations.
  • Build up business and product knowledge and maintain up-to-date documentations.
  • Maintain the single source of particular product data across the department and ensure all reports across the department's functions are reconciled.

Requirements:

  • Degree educated in Finance, Accounting, or Statistics.
  • Qualified/Part Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Demonstrated experience within the Financial Services industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in data analysis.
  • Knowledge of Banking products.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, e.g. Tableau, Power BI, and Python.
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g. VBA, Power Query).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Team player.
  • Excellent communication skills.
