Job Title: Training and Communications Manager

Location: The University of Edinburgh

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Training and Communications Manager to lead the development and delivery of training programs for the Fleming Fund Fellowship Schemes at the University of Edinburgh.

The Fleming Fund Fellowships aim to build knowledge and capacity in southern and east Africa to tackle antimicrobial resistance (AMR). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs that enhance the skills of Fleming Fund Fellows in advocacy, policy development, and communications.

You will work closely with academic mentors and fellows from Zambia, Kenya, Malawi, and Uganda to design and implement training initiatives that align with the National Action Plans for AMR in each country. Your expertise in communications and writing for diverse audiences will enable you to create engaging content that showcases the impact of the Fleming Fund Fellowship Scheme.

About the Role:

Requirements:

  • Masters level education or equivalent plus relevant work experience
  • Experience in training and communications, particularly in global health
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 per annum
