Job Overview

Cedar Care Homes is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Well-being Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our care staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the social and leisure needs of our residents are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents and their families, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
  • Plan and deliver engaging activities and events that cater to the diverse interests and preferences of our residents.
  • Collaborate with care staff to provide a holistic approach to resident care, focusing on their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Assist with the coordination of group events, sessions, and outings, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all participants.
  • Work under the guidance of the Well-being Coordinator to ensure the smooth operation of our social activities program.
Requirements
  • Experience in customer service, event planning, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Basic knowledge of elderly care and dementia support, with a willingness to learn and develop skills in this area.
