About the Job

As the working site supervisor, you will oversee the cleaning team, ensuring the team's motivation and the building's safety and cleanliness.


Key Responsibilities include:
  • Ensuring staff members sign in and out correctly according to company procedures.
  • Providing relevant attendance times to the line manager for accurate timesheet completion.
  • Supplying the line manager with a monthly stores order for chemicals.
  • Inspecting premises on a rota basis, reporting to the client and line manager on work to be done, standards, and building cleanliness.
  • Liasing with the contract representative to ensure work programs meet the client's needs.
  • Supervising cleaning operations to meet client specifications and contract resource levels.
  • Working individually or as part of a team to supervise the cleaning of premises, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Carrying out routine maintenance operations, such as wall washing, carpet cleaning, re-sealing, and dressing of floors.
  • Locking and unlocking premises doors, where necessary.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety at Work etc Act (1974) and company rules and procedures.
Previous Experience and Skills Required:
  • Practical experience in the contract cleaning industry.
  • Experience of managing a team, with excellent organisational skills.
  • A passion for providing safe, clean, and hygienic environments.
  • The ability to build strong working relationships with customers and colleagues and lead a team.
