Job Title: Finance Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Team Lead to join our team at Selwood Housing. As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for leading our Payments department and ensuring the smooth operation of all payment-related activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Payments department, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll and supplier invoices.
  • Develop and implement financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of financial activities.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a finance environment, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial systems.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Experience with financial software and systems, including payroll and accounts payable.
