We are seeking a skilled Back Office Analyst to join our dynamic trading floor team at Discovered MENA. As a leading energy trading company, we unite top talent from around the globe to revolutionize energy flow in global markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily reconciliation of trades across various commodity classes, ensuring data accuracy and completeness in our company system.
  • Calculate and report daily profit and loss for trading portfolios, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Monitor and manage collateral requirements for trades, optimizing usage and ensuring compliance with risk management policies.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance back-office processes and systems, contributing to overall efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a back office or trading operations role within the energy industry.
  • Knowledge of energy trading contracts and pricing mechanisms.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI and Excel; familiarity with programming languages such as Python and VBA is a plus.
  • Experience with trading and risk management systems (ETRM) is preferred.
