Job Title: Earthworks Project Manager

Howard Civil Engineering Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Earthworks Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of earthworks projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate all site operations, including labour and sub-contractors
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
  • Develop and implement project plans, including timelines and budgets
  • Monitor and control project costs, including materials and labour
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet their expectations
  • Lead and motivate a team of site managers and engineers to achieve project goals
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans as needed
  • Ensure all project documentation, including RAMS and permits, is up to date and compliant
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering earthworks projects
  • Degree qualified in a relevant field, such as civil engineering or construction management
  • Strong knowledge of earthworks and remediation techniques, including contamination and hazardous materials
  • Experience with NEC contracts and project management software
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
