Job Title: Development Community Staff Nurse for Health Visiting

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team as a Development Community Staff Nurse for Health Visiting. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality care to children and families.

About the Role
  • Support families in various community settings, following the guidance of the Health Visitor, while considering the diverse social, health, and wellbeing needs of the community.
  • Plan and deliver health activities for children and families, including group sessions, child health clinics, developmental reviews, and one-on-one support.
  • Help families using the Solihull Approach for behaviour management, parenting skills, and care programs, especially for vulnerable families identified by the Health Visitor.
  • Promote breastfeeding and strengthen parent-infant relationships by applying UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative standards.
  • Collaborate with other agencies to provide seamless support for children and families, under the direction of the Health Visitor.
Requirements
  • Being a Registered Nurse active on the NMC register.
  • Committed to professional development.
  • Having a genuine interest and understanding of the Health Visiting Service.
