Job Title: Strategist/Power Trader

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Continental Power Trading hub as a Strategist/Power Trader. This role will involve generating value through Proprietary Trading in the Continental European Power markets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct a deep review of all existing tools and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyse markets and run existing models to inform trading decisions.
  • Support the team with delivering input and trade suggestions to drive business growth.
  • Evaluate and evolve into a trading role with the opportunity to run own proprietary risk.
  • Maintain and develop internal and external relationships to improve market information flow within the book.
  • Deliver on agreed financial and non-financial performance targets, developing and crafting value around the portfolio.
Requirements:
  • University degree in Mathematics, Economics, Science or similar.
  • Proven track record in fundamental analysis of the European Power markets.
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
