Job Title: Junior Power Trader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Junior Power Trader to join our team at E1 EDF Trading Ltd. As a Junior Power Trader, you will be responsible for supporting the Italian Power business and working closely with the Senior Power Trader to develop and implement trading strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of profitable trading strategies
  • Work with the power traders to identify growth opportunities for the business
  • Collaborate with market analysts and traders to provide support
  • Use a professional approach at all times and set high standards

Requirements:

  • Graduate level in an analytically-based discipline (e.g. finance, maths, economics, science)
  • Prior experience in trading or other front office role
  • Experience and understanding of working within commodities
  • Strong IT skills (advanced Excel and Python)
