The successful candidate will provide a professional, efficient, and effective booking service for a variety of acute paediatrics outpatient clinics.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a pleasant customer-focused manner. The ability to speak Welsh is essential for this post.
Main Duties of the Job
The successful candidate will work as part of a small appointment team, supporting the delivery of Acute Paediatrics Service. This will involve working closely with other team members, as well as with other departments/teams, including clinic prep staff, medical secretaries, outpatient department staff, medical staff, specialist nurses, and admin Team Leaders and Managers throughout the service.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high-quality booking service, ensuring that patients receive timely and effective appointments. They will also be required to work closely with other teams to deliver access targets and provide a patient-focused booking service.
Working Patterns
We are recruiting to two posts: one full-time post (37.5 hours per week) and one part-time post (22.5 hours per week). Working patterns are fixed to meet service needs.
