Salary: £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus various benefits, including 34 days annual leave, enhanced parental leave, and health insurance.

About the Role
We're seeking a Senior Subsea Infrastructure Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Consents and Environment team, you'll work on developing and consenting subsea cable infrastructure projects, using your expertise in project development, consenting, and environmental management. Your contributions will shape the future of UK and European energy transmission infrastructure and support the UK's 2030 goals.

Your main responsibilities will include:
  1. Developing and consenting subsea cable infrastructure projects, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  2. Leading marine habitat restoration projects, guiding the business on delivering 10% Biodiversity Net Gain across all projects.
  3. Coordinating with the MCEM team to identify and manage project risks, exploring opportunities for improvement and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  4. Providing clear and concise information to stakeholders, including project team members, regulatory bodies, and community groups, to maintain transparency and facilitate timely project updates.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
  • A deep understanding of marine regulatory frameworks and laws, particularly in the Scottish context.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, enabling strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Experience in subsea cable or offshore renewables sectors, including site selection, consenting, and installation processes.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, allowing you to analyze complex data and develop practical solutions.
