Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled HGV Operations Specialist to join our team at Stormking. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of goods across the UK.

This is a challenging role that requires excellent transport and compliance knowledge, as well as strong housekeeping skills. You will work closely with our drivers to ensure they have all the necessary information and resources to complete their tasks effectively.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 months proven HGV experience and hold a valid Driver CPC card. They will also have good standards of numeracy and literacy, as well as excellent communication skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring compliance in line with operator's license requirements
  • Managing driver hours and ensuring adherence to WTD rules
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting any issues or concerns
  • Working collaboratively with drivers and other stakeholders to achieve operational goals
Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent transport and compliance knowledge and skills
  • Good standards of housekeeping
  • A valid Driver CPC card
  • Minimum of 6 months proven HGV experience
  • Good level of numeracy and literacy
  • Excellent communication skills
