About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Development Solicitor to join our team at Vistry Services. As a key member of our legal team, you will provide property legal services to our Midland and North Divisions, supporting the Senior Solicitor in the acquisition of land, sale of land parcels, and other property-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide legal advice and support to the Senior Solicitor on property-related matters, including land acquisition, sale of land parcels, and commercial property transactions.
  • Work closely with the internal legal team, Vistry's panel of external legal advisors, and key stakeholders to drive structure, process, and best practice.
  • Draft and negotiate development agreements, construction contracts, and other property-related documents.
  • Provide generic legal advice and signposting to key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a Residential Development Solicitor or similar role.
  • Excellent negotiation and networking skills.
  • A pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and prioritize workload.
  • A methodical approach to working practices.
  • Able to influence others.
  • Discretion and integrity in attitude and approach.
