Workshop Recruitment is seeking a skilled Finance and Accounts Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Finance team, ensuring the smooth running of the department.

The ideal candidate will have previous finance and accounting administration experience within a fast-paced office environment. They will be confident in learning internal computer systems and possess excellent organisational and communication skills.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Maintaining a multi-currency purchase ledger for two companies
  • Receiving and dealing with all telephone enquiries, including follow-up
  • Matching purchase orders
  • Processing invoices and credits in multiple currencies
  • Reconciling vendor accounts and company credit cards
  • Processing expenses, commissions, and pensions
  • Petty cash management
  • Posting of bank payments
  • Maintaining records, filing, and other documentation
  • Performing other ad-hoc duties as required to assist the Finance team

The successful candidate will possess a 'can-do' attitude, be able to use initiative, and work well under pressure. Some flexibility can be given for reduced hours, with the understanding that all days of the week must be covered.
