Teaching Role:

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate teacher to lead our Year 2 class in Halesowen. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our students and contributing to their academic and personal growth.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences, with a strong focus on student outcomes and well-being. They will also be able to work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective lesson plans and assessments.

Salary: £40,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
  • To deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to Year 2 students, promoting academic achievement and social development.
  • To collaborate with the Year 2 teaching team to plan and implement engaging and inclusive lessons, ensuring that all students have access to quality education.
  • To assess student progress, providing regular feedback and recording observations in line with school policies.
  • To create a positive and stimulating learning environment that supports the development of each child, fostering a sense of community and inclusivity.
  • To contribute to the wider school community through participation in meetings, events, and professional development activities.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/ECT).
  • Experience teaching in Year 2 / Key Stage 1.
  • A solid understanding of the curriculum and age-appropriate teaching strategies.
  • The ability to plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of the students.
