Sourcing and Supply Chain
At GE Aviation, our Sourcing and Supply Chain teams play a vital role in shaping the future of flight. Dedicated to securing the necessary supplies and tools for our manufacturing and business processes, these teams collaborate with a variety of supplier partners to research the best rates and negotiate contracts that support every step in our supply chain process.
In the 12-month Materials Placement, a strong emphasis is placed on ensuring world-class standards of material flow, storage, accuracy, and quality. Working within the 13-week window, the Materials Placement student will work alongside cross-functional stakeholders to solve problems and deliver on time to our customers. This role is integral in setting and executing the Production Plan in combination with effective material presentation and control.
Key Responsibilities
- Working closely with customer-facing teams to provide supply chain updates against customer orders
- Exposure to day-to-day supply chain management problems
- Utilizing planning methods to execute in line with the Production Plan
What You'll Gain

Requirements
- Currently studying or recently achieved Business/STEM degrees at bachelor's or master's level
