Materials Planner Student Industrial Placement

As a Materials Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of materials throughout our manufacturing cells, engineering, and external customers in both the civil and military markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review material positions and drive supply chain performance to meet customer requirements
  • Collaborate with customer-facing teams to provide supply chain updates against customer orders
  • Utilize our business ERP system to manage daily transactions and supply chain activities
  • Develop problem-solving and teamwork skills to resolve supply chain issues
  • Improve and facilitate MRB reviews to reduce turnaround time in resolving material issues
  • Apply planning methods to execute the Production Plan

This is an excellent opportunity for students passionate about Business and Supply Chain to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Requirements
  • Currently studying or recently achieved a Business/STEM degree at a bachelor's or master's level
  • On course or achieved a 2:1 degree
Desired Characteristics
  • Able to take ownership of projects and work towards deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Able to work as part of a team and contribute to a collaborative environment
