Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer to join our esteemed team at BAE Systems. As a key member of the Trident Engineering Team, you will play a pivotal role in integrating the Strategic Weapons System and Supporting Systems into the Dreadnought Class Submarine.

About the Role:
This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with a wide range of stakeholders across multiple disciplines. With an estimated salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, you will be responsible for providing engineering support/input to Task Authorisation Forms and rectifying GFE material. Your expertise will also be instrumental in ensuring that all US supplied documents are reviewed for impact on the UK platform and distributed to internal Stakeholders for review and comment.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this position, you will require an engineering degree or equivalent experience, as well as Chartership or working towards. You must also possess a solid understanding of the role of an SSBN, its mission, and how the Strategic Weapon System contributes to it. Additionally, knowledge of Life Cycle Management and the ability to contribute to SWS Engineering/integration aspects of documentation reviews, design reviews, and decision panels is desirable.
