Paediatric Occupational Therapist Vacancy

Hunter AHP is seeking a qualified Paediatric Occupational Therapist to fill a 12-month locum contract in a private school setting. The successful candidate will work as part of a multidisciplinary therapy team, providing services to pupils aged 4-18 with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

About the Role

This Band 6 equivalent position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced professionals to contribute to the delivery of high-quality therapy services. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to support pupils' physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with the therapy team to provide comprehensive services to pupils with ASD
  • Assess, plan, and implement occupational therapy interventions to promote independence and participation in daily activities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of care
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

A degree in Occupational Therapy or a related fieldRegistration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)Proven experience working with children with ASD or similar conditionsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsBenefits
