Job Overview
Voltalia UK is seeking a highly skilled HSE Advisor to support the EPC business line in ensuring a safe working environment across our projects in the United Kingdom. As an HSE Advisor, you will play a critical role in promoting a positive health and safety culture within our organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UK construction health and safety regulations, including the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The successful applicant will be fluent in English and hold a diploma or higher in HSE management or a suitable equivalent.

About the Role
The HSE Advisor will provide expert advice and guidance on health and safety matters to project teams, stakeholders, and suppliers. Key responsibilities include:
  1. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with Voltalia Global HSE Requirements.
  2. Covering all aspects of health and safety, including risk assessments, method statements, and emergency response planning.
  3. Coordinating HSE supply chain resources and equipment required for project deployment.
  4. Ensuring timely reporting of monthly project data for statistical analysis.
  5. Conducting regular HSE compliance inspections and audits of internal and external EPC sites.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:
  • Diploma or higher in HSE management or a suitable equivalent.
  • At least 5 years' experience within construction, engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering, power distribution, renewable energy sectors, oil & gas.
  • Fluent with UK construction health and safety regulations, including the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations.
  • Professionally affiliated, preferably with the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (Tech IOSH) or working towards it.
  • English speaker (mandatory).
  • Availability for business travel.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office.
