Reliable HGV Recovery Driver Wanted

Are you looking for a career that offers job satisfaction and the opportunity to make a real difference in people's lives? As a Roadside Recovery Driver with The AA Group, you will be responsible for providing assistance to members who are stranded or have broken down on the road.

The ideal candidate will have a valid category C driving licence (HGV 2) and ideally hold the CE (HGV 1) licence too. You will also need a Driver CPC qualification and a digital drivers/tachograph card.

In this role, you will work independently, but also as part of a team, driving to different locations in all weathers. You will be the friendly face who helps our customers feel safe, understood and taken care of. This may involve taking their vehicle to a garage for repair, or travelling with them to their destination.

We offer a competitive salary of £33,867 per annum for a C (HGV 2) license, with the option to earn up to £37,147 per annum for a CE (HGV 1) license. You will also receive unlimited overtime available within driving hours regulations, 23 days holidays plus bank holidays, and up to 7% company pension contribution.

Other benefits include a dedicated Employee Assistance Programme and a 24/7 remote GP service for you and your family. We are committed to helping our employees develop their skills and knowledge, with industry leading training and opportunities for career progression.

To be eligible for this role, you must live within 25 miles and 1 hour's travel from our depot located at KT15 2QF. Shifts will be based on a 28-day rolling rota, with 75 hours worked per week and overtime available.
