Job Title: Inhouse Childcare Advocate

Job Type: Locum contract

Location: London

We are seeking a skilled Childcare Advocate to join our team at a London Local Authority on an interim basis. The ideal candidate will have experience in public childcare law and be able to conduct initial hearings, case management hearings, and Final Hearings.

The successful candidate will be able to build and maintain positive working relationships with the Court and have experience of working in a local authority or private practice. The role will involve some attendance at the Council offices in South London and Court hearings will be conducted mainly in person.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial hearings, case management hearings, and Final Hearings
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with the Court
  • Work with the team to manage court work

Requirements:

  • Experience in public childcare law
  • Ability to conduct initial hearings, case management hearings, and Final Hearings
  • Experience of working in a local authority or private practice
