Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring individual to support a lady living in Gooderstone, who requires assistance with practical aspects of life due to multiple chronic illnesses.

The ideal candidate will have a full UK driving licence, own vehicle, and be able to use their own initiative and be proactive. A quiet and kind nature is essential as the individual gets mentally and physically tired quickly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and support when required
  • Assisting with food preparation and domestic tasks
  • Purchasing groceries and taking care of pets
  • Carrying out other tasks as necessary

Requirements:

  1. A full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle
  2. A quiet and kind nature
  3. Proactive and able to use own initiative
  4. Similar interests in gardening, arts and crafts, and animal lover (advantageous)

Gooderstone, PE33

Desirable Skills:

  1. Previous experience in care or social care

Terms and Conditions:

The hourly rate for this position is £14.00 per hour. Hours and times of work: variable hours, between 10 and 20 hours per week. Exact days and times are open to discussion at interview. Job share will be considered for this role.

The annual holiday entitlement for this position will be equivalent to the work I would normally expect to be done during 5.6 consecutive weeks.

Estimated Salary: The estimated salary for this position is £24,000 - £28,800 per annum, based on an average of 10-20 hours worked per week.
