Hunts Recruitment Limited is seeking a qualified and experienced Learning Support Assistant SEN Teacher to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with children and young people with special educational needs, providing individualized support to help them achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of the needs of children and young people with special educational needs, with previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant SEN Teacher or a similar role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with colleagues, students, and parents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing individualized support to children and young people with special educational needs\
  • Working closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans\
  • Assisting with lesson preparation and delivery, including adapting materials to meet the needs of students with special educational needs\
  • Monitoring student progress and reporting to parents and teachers\
  • Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge\

Location: Near Totton-Southampton

The position is based near Totton-Southampton, with day shifts available across Monday to Friday to fit with your availability. Full and part-time hours are available, and the role is term-time only, with 8.50am-3.25pm hours available Monday to Friday.

Pay Rate: £12.25 per hour
