Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Maths GCSE Lecturer to join our team at Dovetail and Slate Ltd. As a Maths GCSE Lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching Maths GCSE to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), and English as a Second Language (ESOL).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching and Learning: Deliver high-quality Maths GCSE lessons to students with SEN, SEMH, and ESOL.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
  • Lesson Planning: Plan and prepare engaging and accessible Maths GCSE lessons that cater to the needs of students with SEN, SEMH, and ESOL.
  • Student Support: Provide additional support to students who require extra help outside of regular lessons.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Good basic general education including GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade C or above.
  • Experience: Proven experience working with students with SEN, SEMH, and ESOL.
  • Teaching Qualification: Recognised Teaching Qualification.
