HGV Technician

We are seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our team at Demob Job Ltd in Wallingford, Oxfordshire. As a market leader in our sector, we are committed to providing exceptional service and maintaining a fleet of vehicles that are environmentally friendly and efficient.
The successful candidate will be responsible for working as part of a team to repair and maintain our fleet of vehicles, including HGV and LGV. Key responsibilities include:
- Inspecting vehicles to ensure all necessary service and maintenance is recorded and carried out.
- Using computerized diagnostic machines to locate mechanical faults.
- Completing job cards and writing reports on customer vehicle fleets.
- Carrying out pre-mot checks and completing mot testing on vehicles.
- Diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed and adhered to.
Requirements for the role include:
- Qualified motor mechanics with proven experience working on trucks of all sizes.
- Ability to work as part of a team and maintain a high level of professionalism.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
