About the Role

We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at Grundon, a leading provider of waste management services. As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining a mixed fleet of rigid and articulated vehicles to high standards in line with DVSA requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare new vehicles, including EVs, for release into service
  • Correct daily defects, service maintenance, and MOTs
  • Join a small team of HGV Technicians to maintain a high level of vehicle reliability and efficiency

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with large goods vehicle experience, ideally with a qualification or semi-skilled status (City & Guilds HGV Parts 1, 2 & 3 or NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent). If you don't have those qualifications, then you must have 10 years' experience working on HGV vehicles.
