Job Type: Permanent Full-Time

Job Overview:

Graham is seeking a Graduate Building Services Engineer to join our site team in Belfast, NI. As a Graduate Building Services Engineer, you will be supported in all areas of development and have the opportunity to gain experience and be developed in various aspects of building services engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Graduate Building Services Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  1. Checking sub-contractor quotations and ensuring M&E performance specification has been covered.
  2. Commercial management of projects to achieve set targets.
  3. Ensuring close liaison with the commercial team to manage project requirements and performance.
  4. Checking sub-contractor valuation claims.
  5. Chairing M&E workshops.
  6. Reviewing M&E drawings against client's brief, budget, technical / Building Control compliance and discussing options with the M&E consultants.
  7. Looking for value engineering opportunities and simpler / faster methods of installation.

Operational / Site Activity:

  1. Organising and chairing technical services meetings with all M&E sub-contractors.
  2. Monitoring installation quality.
  3. Ensuring compliance with the latest building regulations.
  4. Ensuring M&E installations are in line with client ER's and Consultant performance specification.
  5. Providing technical support to the project delivery team to ensure delivery is in line with key business objectives.

Handover:

  1. Liaising with sub-contractors to develop a commissioning programme.
  2. Organising and leading client demonstrations / training.
  3. Inspecting all commissioning certification.
  4. Ensuring all O&M information is correct and specific to each project.

Requirements:

Candidates should hold a degree in Building Services Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or similar qualifications.
