Our client, a leading heating contractor, is seeking skilled gas service and repair subcontract engineers to join their team for a social housing contract.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out gas service and repair work as a self-employed subcontractor
  • Work a minimum of 5 days per week
  • Be paid a retention rate/guaranteed pay for 8 jobs per day, with additional payment for any jobs completed after 8
Requirements:
  • Own van
  • Gas Safe registration
  • Public liability insurance
  • Calibrated analyser
  • Clean DBS
Experience:

Ideally, candidates should have 3+ years' experience in gas servicing and repairs, particularly within a social housing setting.

Benefits:
  • Flexible rota with call-out every 1 in 6/7 weeks
  • £40.00 standby rate paid per day
  • Price per job
  • Contractors in this role typically earn between £1,000 and £1,300 per week
Selection Process:

Candidates will undergo a multiple-choice test as part of the interview process, followed by online training.
