- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative assessment methods, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular projects and initiatives that enhance the learning experience.
- Establish effective communication channels with parents/guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and addressing any concerns in a timely manner.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events to contribute to the wider school community.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 students, preferably in Year 4
- Sound understanding of the National Curriculum and assessment practices
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering a positive learning environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice
