Job Overview


We are seeking a talented and experienced Weekend Cook to join our team at Sodexo.


As a Weekend Cook, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, cooking, and presenting meals to our residents, ensuring the highest standards of health, hygiene, and safety.


Key Responsibilities



  • Prepare and cook delicious meals for our residents
  • Ensure the highest standards of health, hygiene, and safety in the kitchen
  • Manage and control all food, including receiving and checking stock, equipment, and materials
  • Monitor portion control and ensure waste is controlled
  • Collect and record routine data, including temperature control during production, preparation, service, and storage
  • Report any accidents, near misses, damage, or breakages to the Catering supervisor
  • Ensure the Catering Department is opened and closed at the required times and secured when not in use
  • Undertake any other tasks appropriate to the duties and responsibilities of the post

Package Description



  • 12 hours per week
  • Saturday and Sunday
  • £ per hour
