Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Services Officer to join our team at Shared Services Partnership. As a key member of our residential service, you will play a vital role in providing personalized support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to engage in meaningful activities and live fulfilling lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as eating, drinking, and personal care.
- Support individuals with communication and social skills, promoting their ability to interact with others.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and other professionals to ensure a comprehensive and person-centered approach to care.
- Contribute to a safe and supportive environment, promoting the physical and emotional well-being of individuals in our care.
Requirements:
- Experience of working with individuals with learning disabilities, preferably in a residential setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with individuals, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of individuals.
- Knowledge of person-centered approaches to care and support, with a commitment to promoting independence and well-being.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
