Our CFCs operate a world-class online grocery business that automates the single pick of products, ready for your online delivery. As an integral part of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering pre-planned and reactive maintenance within our state-of-the-art automated CFC in Luton.About the Role
As an Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing equipment breakdowns and resolving issues in a timely manner, completing repairs where possible. You will handle the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) system, maintaining accurate data records to meet Engineering KPIs. You will also support the Engineering team in analysing engineering failures and finding solutions to improve Mechanical Handling Equipment performance.
You will work a shift pattern to support our 24/7 operation, consisting of 12 hour shifts across days, nights and weekends. This role requires you to be organised and meticulous, with great analytical skills and the ability to communicate effectively. You should be comfortable working safely at height and happy to work to a 24 hour shift pattern.
About YouIf you are looking for your next step in your Engineering career, this role is for you. Ideally, you have an Engineering qualification, along with hands-on experience. You should have a good technical understanding of automation hardware and software, along with good working knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and conveyor systems.
You will be a natural problem solver with great analytical skills, able to share knowledge and best practice with your peers. You will also be comfortable working safely at height and happy to work to a 24 hour shift pattern.What We Offer
