About the Role

As an Engineering Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art automated facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver pre-planned and reactive maintenance, utilizing your technical expertise to diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical handling equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems to maintain accurate data records and meet engineering KPIs
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to analyze equipment failures and implement solutions to improve mechanical handling equipment performance
  • Work a shift pattern to support our 24/7 operation, consisting of 12-hour shifts across days, nights, and weekends

About You

To succeed in this role, you will require a strong technical background, preferably with an engineering qualification and hands-on experience. You should possess a good understanding of automation hardware and software, as well as working knowledge of PLCs, SCADA, and conveyor systems.
