Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a passionate and vibrant SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a SEND school in Ripon.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children by providing adequate support and supervision.
  • Collaborate with the Class Teacher to deliver resources and general classroom activities.
  • Record pupil progress and behavior.
  • Provide personal care, including feeding, changing, and toileting.
  • Enhance the social, emotional, and mental health of children.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with SEND children or relevant qualifications.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
  • Minimum of three months UK residency.
  • Overseas criminal clearance (if applicable) or willingness to apply.
  • Child enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply.
  • References available upon request covering the last 24 months of employment.
