We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Psychology graduates to join our team as SEN Teaching Assistants in specialist schools within the Penarth area. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring Educational Psychologists to gain valuable experience in a school setting.

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annumJob Summary:

In this role, you will provide tailored support to students with a range of SEN, fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment. You will work closely with SENCOs, therapists, and teachers to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), and engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in SEN practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with SEN, promoting engagement and inclusion in the classroom.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) with SENCOs, therapists, and teachers.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in SEN practices.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Psychology degree (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working with students with SEMH, Autism, or ADHD
  • Strong knowledge of supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs
