About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Site Services Engineer to join our team at one of the largest FMCG manufacturers in the country. As a Site Services Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining a range of equipment, including boilers, air filtration systems, PSSR systems, FGAS, refrigeration, and air compressors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carrying out building maintenance, electrical installation, and plant services equipment repairs
  • Conducting routine plant services preventative maintenance, including refrigeration, legionella testing, and air compressors
  • Carrying out legislative testing and inspections
  • Supervising plant services installations
  • Ensuring the close monitoring and control of contractors
  • Providing assistance to the maintenance team and providing emergency callout cover where required
  • Ensuring all procedures and systems are kept up to date
  • Complying with Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, and Environmental Legislation
About You

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Gained engineering skills in electrical or multi-skilled electrical bias
  • Held a formal engineering qualification, minimum NVQ level 3/C&G level 3
  • Been able to fault find and problem solve both electrically and mechanically
  • Had an excellent understanding of site, buildings, and machinery compliance to health and safety requirements, including PUWER & COSHH
  • Knowledge of general building practices, working with water and electrical appliances, and experience of maintaining boilers
