About the Job

We are seeking a trustworthy and reliable Personal Assistant to support a lady in her 30s living in the Cowbridge area. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing daily care and support, including personal care tasks, household chores, and meal preparation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal care tasks, including medication management and assistance with daily living activities
  • Household and domestic chores, including cleaning and laundry
  • Meal preparation and food shopping
  • Prompting with medication and accompanying the employer to appointments
  • Helping the employer socialise and attend activities
  • Providing company and ensuring the employer's safety at all times
  • Occasional paperwork, including filling and administrative tasks
Requirements
  • Trustworthy, reliable, and friendly with a good sense of humour
  • Upbeat and positive mindset
  • Good listener and ability to notice if the employer is having a bad day
  • Ability to follow the employer's lead and not take over
  • Female due to personal care requirements
  • Driver preferred with own car and business class insurance
  • Likes animals
Working Hours

25 hours per week, usually worked during the day, 5 hours each day, weekdays. Shift pattern may vary, and consideration will be given to employing more than one Personal Assistant and a casual Personal Assistant to cover sickness or holidays.

Rate of Pay

£13.00 per hour
