Role Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Commercial Manager to join a globally recognized company. As a key member of the commercial team, you will be responsible for managing all commercial aspects of the business, including contracts, bidding, exports, imports, and security activities. You will work closely with a global customer base and report directly to the Commercial Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial activities, including managing product enquiries, negotiating contract terms, and developing customer framework agreements.
- Work closely with the bid manager to lead on all commercial issues associated with proposal generation.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Establish strong relationships with commercial contacts within the global customer base.
- Provide strategic risk and commercial counsel throughout the bidding and project phases.
Requirements
We are seeking a Commercial Manager with:
- Proven experience in commercial management, preferably in the engineering field.
- Knowledge of import regulations in a regulated setting.
- Experience with government or military contracts is a plus.
- Strong commercial proposal development and negotiation skills.
- Independent decision-making with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.
